Sports Boosters

Please be sure to join Sports Boosters during Cougar Days.  For those of you who don’t know, Sports Boosters raises funds through our fall registration drive, selling sport decals (also on sale during Cougar Days and at the School office), and the spring fundraiser.  This year, Sports Boosters is selling “BRICKS” that will be placed in the promenade area of Cougar Stadium, along with other bricks that have been previously purchased.  Bricks are $225 each, and can be purchased by individuals, groups, or teams.

Sports Boosters funds are distributed to all teams for fees, equipment, and up to 50% of uniforms.  In addition, Sports Boosters supports the sports trainer available to all athletes.  The Sports Boosters Club has been very generous with polo over the past few years, and we encourage all to support their fund raising efforts.

Transportation Forms

Since many parents are needed to drive kids to away games and tournaments we ask each family to fill out an auto insurance form which needs to be on file with the school. Please download the form and turn in at Cougar Days or bring to the parents meeting. Transportation form (download from http://www.acalanes.k12.ca.us/forms/)

Athletic Clearances

All players should have received their “stickers” from Athletic Director Bob Wilson which shows the coaches that your student has completed all necessary forms and paid the appropriate district Sports Participation donation. The sticker is placed on the back of the student body card.  No player is allowed in the pool without this proof of compliance.  Please inquire at the office or see Bob Wilson if you have any questions.

If your child would like to play polo this fall.  All registration forms including the sports forms can be downloaded on the http://www.acalanes.k12.ca.us/ website.   

Miscellaneous Sports Forms- In addition to the Athletic Clearance form noted above there are 3 other sports forms which need to competed for all student athletes:  Conditions of Participation for Student Athletes, Rules and Regulations for Athletes and Athlete Ejection Policy Notification. These forms should be turned in at Cougar Days. 

Sports fees- At registration they will collect a sports fee for each sport you will be participating. A sticker will be provided to put on the student’s ID card to show proof of eligibility.
